Brett Patterson

Brett Patterson is a senior hotel development professional with 30 years’ experience in executive management, project management, construction management and hotel consultancy.

Prior to establishing Chroma Group in 2016, Brett held executive level positions for the previous 16 years with a leading Fitout and Refurbishment Company where he was responsible for establishing and building a highly profitable hotel business and for overseeing multiple national projects. Brett is sought by many hotel owners and operators for his knowledge and experience in the hotel sector. Passionate about good hotel design. Brett was the creator of Australia’s only hotel design conference, Design Inn – A hotel design Symposium.

Brett has demonstrated understanding of the hotel sector, the importance of good hotel design and operator selection is critical to the hotel property performance.

Paul Devlin

Paul Devlin has 20 years’ construction industry experience in Australia and abroad and has completed a breadth of project types including large new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects in the residential, office, education and hotel sectors.

Paul has followed his passion for hotels and hospitality and now specialises in the hotel sector in both a consulting and contracting capacity with Chroma Group Pty Ltd. Paul’s strength is building client, consultant and subcontractor relationships through strong communication skills and building trust with the team members.

Drawing on his extensive experience in design management, budget management and project delivery, Paul provides value from project conception to final completion and beyond ensuring that hotel projects are delivered with minimal revenue reduction and to the highest industry standards.

Tom Basham

Tom has been working in the construction industry for over 15 years in a variety of sectors including hospitality, high end fit out and refurbishment projects as well as new build and residential works.

Tom has strong communication skills and emphasises a collaborative approach with all project stakeholder. Drawing on his Technical and buildability skills, Tom supports all phases of the construction process to deliver the best outcome for his clients.

Tom has detailed knowledge of cost planning and budget management with a focus on value management that maintains the integrity of design.

Tom has extensive experience in all stages of the project life cycle from planning and feasibility through to completion with a focus on delivering an exceptional project experience to his clients.

Quintin Fallow

Quintin Fallow has 17 years’ construction industry experience in Australia and abroad and has completed an array of project types including new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects in the residential, office, education health and hotel sectors.

Quintin has a passion for high end construction which has drawn him into the hotels and hospitality arena. He now specialises in the hotel sector in both a consulting and contracting capacity with Chroma Group Pty Ltd.

Quintin has extensive experience in construction management, budget and project delivery, ensuring that our hotel projects are delivered with minimal disruption and to the highest quality standards.

Stuart Watson

Built on nearly 20 years experience in the industry, and management of a number of large-scale projects, Stuart brings a calm and quiet confidence to the table.

Having worked in both the residential and commercial sectors, coupled with his studies of both architecture and construction management, Stuart has extensive knowledge of all trades and an eye for high quality finishes.

The wealth of knowledge he possesses contributes to his dynamic problem solving and effective value engineering. The culmination of Stuart’s refined skill set at the end of the day is the successful delivery of his projects.

David prides himself on having a keen eye for the fine details, making him well suited to the hospitality fit out and construction industry that he’s been a part of for a number of years.

Having previously specialised in the production and installation of commercial kitchens amongst experience in restaurant refurbishments, David has a wide breadth of knowledge at his disposal.

His hands on and proactive approach make him a key contributor not only to the projects that he manages but those of the whole business.

With over 10 years working in the construction industry, Will started his career in residential construction, followed by six years working within multiple roles of project delivery across fit-out and refurbishment in the office, education and residential aged care sectors.

Will prides himself on clear communication and having a practical and collaborative approach to problem solving and has vast experience working across Design & Construct ECI projects with detailed knowledge of cost planning, buildability and value management whilst ensuring that clients’ expectations and overall quality is achieved to a high standard.

Will has developed strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors and with his experience and attention to detail, has a proven track record of delivering projects to a high standard.

Completing an apprenticeship in carpentry and quickly moving onto various types of residential projects to become a Victorian residential unlimited class registered builder by the age of 27.

Ryan has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Starting out as a carpenter he developed a strong understanding as to how a good site is run. Mark Fisher

With 17 years experience in the construction industry, Mark has a lot to offer to his work. His previous roles as a Carpenter, a Foreman, a Construction Trainer and a Site Manager, coupled with his driven work ethic, make him an invaluable asset to any construction project.

Having worked on a wide range of project types, from new builds to a heritage refurbishment at Victoria State Library, Mark understands the importance of simultaneously having both safety and quality at the forefront on-site.

Mark is dedicated and adopts a hands on approach to developing solutions which are specific to each project that he is a part of.

Justin Boyd

With an already well-balanced skillset, Justin possesses the endearing quality of someone who is always willing to learn. Having previously held both on-site and off-site roles, Justin has a perspective of the construction process from estimating through to project completion.

Throughout his 15 years in the industry there has been a proactive focus on improving, implementing and ensuring safety measures. Secondary only to safety, Justin sees a large part of his role on-site is in ensuring clear and effective communication between all parties involved in the build, from tradesmen all the way to the client.

As one of the first members of Chroma Group’s Adelaide team, Ryan’s outgoing personality and leadership skills are evident.

Starting out his career in construction as a Carpenter and working on a range of both residential and commercial projects affords Ryan a very well rounded view of the safety and quality measures required on-site to complete a high-end project on time.
