Brett Patterson

Brett Patterson is a senior hotel development professional with 30 years’ experience in executive management, project management, construction management and hotel consultancy.

Prior to establishing Chroma Group in 2016, Brett held executive level positions for the previous 16 years with a leading Fitout and Refurbishment Company where he was responsible for establishing and building a highly profitable hotel business and for overseeing multiple national projects. Brett is sought by many hotel owners and operators for his knowledge and experience in the hotel sector. Passionate about good hotel design. Brett was the creator of Australia’s only hotel design conference, Design Inn – A hotel design Symposium.

Brett has demonstrated understanding of the hotel sector, the importance of good hotel design and operator selection is critical to the hotel property performance. 


Paul Devlin

Paul Devlin has 20 years’ construction industry experience in Australia and abroad and has completed a breadth of project types including large new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects in the residential, office, education and hotel sectors.

Paul has followed his passion for hotels and hospitality and now specialises in the hotel sector in both a consulting and contracting capacity with Chroma Group Pty Ltd. Paul’s strength is building client, consultant and subcontractor relationships through strong communication skills and building trust with the team members.

Drawing on his extensive experience in design management, budget management and project delivery, Paul provides value from project conception to final completion and beyond ensuring that hotel projects are delivered with minimal revenue reduction and to the highest industry standards.


Tom Basham

Tom has been working in the construction industry for over 15 years in a variety of sectors including hospitality, high end fit out and refurbishment projects as well as new build and residential works.

Tom has strong communication skills and emphasises a collaborative approach with all project stakeholder. Drawing on his Technical and buildability skills, Tom supports all phases of the construction process to deliver the best outcome for his clients.

Tom has detailed knowledge of cost planning and budget management with a focus on value management that maintains the integrity of design.

Tom has extensive experience in all stages of the project life cycle from planning and feasibility through to completion with a focus on delivering an exceptional project experience to his clients.


Quintin Fallow

Quintin Fallow has 17 years’ construction industry experience in Australia and abroad and has completed an array of project types including new-build, fit-out and refurbishment projects in the residential, office, education health and hotel sectors.

Quintin has a passion for high end construction which has drawn him into the hotels and hospitality arena. He now specialises in the hotel sector in both a consulting and contracting capacity with Chroma Group Pty Ltd.

Quintin has extensive experience in construction management, budget and project delivery, ensuring that our hotel projects are delivered with minimal disruption and to the highest quality standards.


Stuart Watson

Built on nearly 20 years experience in the industry, and management of a number of large-scale projects, Stuart brings a calm and quiet confidence to the table.

Having worked in both the residential and commercial sectors, coupled with his studies of both architecture and construction management, Stuart has extensive knowledge of all trades and an eye for high quality finishes.

The wealth of knowledge he possesses contributes to his dynamic problem solving and effective value engineering. The culmination of Stuart’s refined skill set at the end of the day is the successful delivery of his projects.


Will Georgiou

With over 10 years working in the construction industry, Will started his career in residential construction, followed by six years working within multiple roles of project delivery across fit-out and refurbishment in the office, education and residential aged care sectors.

Will prides himself on clear communication and having a practical and collaborative approach to problem solving and has vast experience working across Design & Construct ECI projects with detailed knowledge of cost planning, buildability and value management whilst ensuring that clients’ expectations and overall quality is achieved to a high standard.

Will has developed strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors and with his experience and attention to detail, has a proven track record of delivering projects to a high standard.


Hayden Miller

Hayden possesses strong leadership skills alongside his clear and effective communication and a knack for dynamic problem solving.

Hayden has a hybrid of commercial and residential experience which will contribute to the finishes focused yet fast paced nature of the hotel and hospitality sector.

Experienced and confident with all aspects of construction project management, Hayden demonstrates solutions based communication and the ability to find new solutions to old problems.


Sean Leong

Sean is a self-motivated Senior Project Engineer with 10 years construction experience in hotels, hospitality, residential projects. Sean has a proven track record of successful project delivery through collaboration, procurement smarts and attention to detail.

Sean has a thorough understanding of FF&E Procurement, overseas logistics and coordination.


Caylyn Buice

Caylyn Buice is a highly motivated, genuinely flexible and results driven Project Engineer. She has an outstanding record of performance in developing and maintaining client relationships, controlling project spend and managing project delivery from design to handover.

With a strong history of successful prioritisation of multiple time sensitive projects, her attention to detail and dedication to client management ensures continuing relationships and projects.

She is extremely organised and has the skills to consistently achieve targets while delivering under pressure.


Victoria Escrina

Victoria is a skilled professional with experience in both the Architecture and Building Industry, having worked in residential, commercial, casino and hotel projects both in the private and public sector.

As an enthusiastic, committed and responsible professional, she has a strong history in leading planning, detailing, designing and coordinating projects. She has outstanding organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.


Brett Smith

Brett has a wealth of experience in both high end residential and commercial construction.

Completing an apprenticeship in carpentry and quickly moving onto various types of residential projects to become a Victorian residential unlimited class registered builder by the age of 27.

He has an eye for detail, the respect of tradespeople and the patience required to finish projects to a high standard within budget and time.


Katie McRae

With nearly ten years administrative experience, Katie is a well-balanced professional with a keen interest in ensuring a high quality client experience. Katie has a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously whilst maintaining good spirits amongst those around her.

Katie is someone that goes where help is needed with the view of ensuring the team can achieve their goals and she prides herself on ensuring that those around her have everything that they need to work as efficiently and as effectively as possible.


Laura Eastwood

Laura has a wealth of experience in the construction industry as a Project Coordinator working across the retail and corporate sectors, supplemented by recent experience in a support role with a Building Surveyor.

A results driven individual with an excellent knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of a Project Coordinator, Laura is resourceful and self-motivated whilst working under pressure accurately and efficiently.


Tashana Harwood

Tashana is an upcoming talent in the Chroma Group Project Team. With recent experience as a Project Coordinator, Tashana has a solid understanding of luxury boutique store fit out projects which she is now looking to build on in the hotel sector.

With a personable disposition, she approaches planning, time management, stakeholder relationships, and problem solving with confidence.


Milad Almatrah

Milad is a driven and motivated individual with a foundation in construction project coordination through his estimating background. With experience in the residential sector, he exhibits strong decision making, leadership and time management skills.

His recent experience as a Site Coordinator/Estimator has solidified his ability to work under pressure, adapt to ever changing conditions and lead from the ground.


Ryan Cornelius

Ryan has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Starting out as a carpenter he developed a strong understanding as to how a good site is run. After developing his skills on the ground, he also has recent experience as a Project Manager, thus solidifying his understanding of the construction process as a whole, he has all of the skills required to thrive as a Site Manager with Chroma Group.

Ryan has a strong focus on getting work completed on time with quality finishes. Ryan is well versed in managing quality whilst also ensuring a safe environment for everyone on site.


Gus Gerraty

Gus is a well seasoned Site Manager with a passion for the work. He manages projects on site with a certain ease only seen from someone who loves what they do. Gus is thorough and has a strong focus on ensuring works carried out under his supervision are done so according to stringent safety guidelines.

His authentic and approachable demeanour gains him respect from both subcontractors and clients alike.


Arielle Wilkinson

Arielle has a rare hybrid of experience in both design and construction. Having worked overseas on a boutique 5-star hotel and specialised in hospitality interior design, Arielle has a keen interest in expanding her knowledge and skillset within the hotel and hospitality construction industry.

A self-described straight shooter, Arielle is process orientated, results-driven and eager to continue expanding her already varied skillset in construction.


Mark Fisher

With 17 years experience in the construction industry, Mark has a lot to offer to his work. His previous roles as a Carpenter, a Foreman, a Construction Trainer and a Site Manager, coupled with his driven work ethic, make him an invaluable asset to any construction project.

Having worked on a wide range of project types, from new builds to a heritage refurbishment at Victoria State Library, Mark understands the importance of simultaneously having both safety and quality at the forefront on-site.

Mark is dedicated and adopts a hands on approach to developing solutions which are specific to each project that he is a part of.


Justin Boyd

With an already well-balanced skillset, Justin possesses the endearing quality of someone who is always willing to learn. Having previously held both on-site and off-site roles, Justin has a perspective of the construction process from estimating through to project completion.

Throughout his 15 years in the industry there has been a proactive focus on improving, implementing and ensuring safety measures. Secondary only to safety, Justin sees a large part of his role on-site is in ensuring clear and effective communication between all parties involved in the build, from tradesmen all the way to the client.


Alex Morsby

Alex brings a calm and calculated approach to his project management role. His experience until now in client-side construction project management provides him the ability to work under pressure while keeping all stakeholders informed and included.

Having previously worked as a chef, his passion for hotel and hospitality projects transfers well into his construction experience in refurbishments, new builds and civil projects.


Prue Carroll

Prue brings a new perspective and skillset to the Chroma Group team with her extensive knowledge of and experience within the financial sector. Familiar with high intensity and results driven environments, her skillset blends well into the construction project coordination role.

Alongside her skills she also brings a fresh passion and drive for the construction process; seeing a plan and experiencing the space come to life.

Prue prides herself on her forward thinking problem solving, stakeholder management and time management skills, all of which will see her thrive in the Chroma Group team.


Daniela Guerrero

Daniela has worked in various specialised companies all involved in the construction industry, be it kitchens and bathrooms, cabinetry or stone and tile works, she has had the foundation of her architecture and design background throughout.

She is experienced in estimating and coordination and is meticulous in her organisation and communication.


John Armstrong

Throughout John’s 26 years in the construction industry he has held multiple positions and undertaken many studies.

John has an inquisitive and collaborative approach to problem solving and an outgoing and positive demeanour, by way of which he is capable of building lasting relationships with trades and clients alike.

John has extensive knowledge of both services and fit-out trades, and what is required of them in hospitality projects where high-end finishes are more prevalent.


Ravi Nettasingha

Ravi is ready to build on his previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, especially on hotel and hospitality projects.

Having previously worked on leisure, residential and education projects, he has a solid base in his skills for attention to detail, organisation, communication and collaboration.


Ryan Ferrell

As one of the first members of Chroma Group’s Adelaide team, Ryan’s outgoing personality and leadership skills are evident.

Starting out his career in construction as a Carpenter and working on a range of both residential and commercial projects affords Ryan a very well rounded view of the safety and quality measures required on-site to complete a high-end project on time.
