Totti’s Lorne

Chroma Group successfully delivered the fit-out of Totti’s Lorne as the first stage of the broader refurbishment of the iconic Lorne Hotel for Merivale, introducing the renowned Totti’s brand to Victoria. Delivered under a negotiated arrangement, Chroma Group managed procurement, programme coordination, and construction to transform the ground-floor hospitality spaces, commencing with a complete strip-out to expose the building's original structure before delivering a new commercial kitchen, comprehensive services upgrade, and premium hospitality fit-out. The project brought the Totti’s design vision to life through signature architectural elements including soft arches, aged copper fireplaces, chequered cork flooring, sorbet terrazzo, and terracotta detailing, creating a warm coastal dining environment with a subtle 1970s influence. Delivered within an operational hotel and hospitality venue, the project required carefully planned staging, close coordination with Merivale's internal design team, consultants, suppliers, and venue operations, and rigorous quality management to maintain public access and continuity of service throughout construction. Through collaborative delivery and meticulous execution, Chroma Group successfully realised the client's design vision while meeting programme, operational, and quality objectives, establishing a distinctive new hospitality destination that seamlessly integrates the Totti's brand within the Lorne Hotel.
