Crossley St Hotel
Chroma Group successfully delivered the full refurbishment of Crossley St Hotel, a seven-storey, 113-room boutique hotel in Melbourne, for valued repeat client Lancemore Group. Delivered under a negotiated arrangement, Chroma Group managed all aspects of procurement, programme coordination, and construction, including the overseas sourcing of bespoke casegoods, custom lighting, furniture, and premium FF&E. The comprehensive refurbishment encompassed guestrooms, bathrooms, reception, restaurant, bar, rooftop terrace, and external façade upgrades, transforming the existing hotel into a distinctive boutique destination inspired by Carr Design's "on stage/off stage" concept, reflecting its premium theatre district location. Delivered within a live operating hotel, the project required carefully planned staging, close coordination with hotel management, consultants, designers, and suppliers, and rigorous quality and safety management to maintain guest access and continuity of service throughout construction. Through collaborative project delivery and meticulous execution, Chroma Group successfully delivered a unique luxury hospitality environment that fulfilled the client's programme, operational, and quality objectives while bringing the design vision to life.
