How this Blue Mountains landmark went from fusty to fabulous

Chroma Group was brought into the transformation of Salter Brothers’ Lilianfels, perched above the Jamison Valley, to deliver works across some of the heritage hotel’s most important spaces, including the main kitchen, guest bedrooms, and the newly refreshed Èliva Spa.

Working alongside Luchretti Krelle, the refurbishment called for a careful balance between Lilianfels’ rich history and its new, more playful identity and included the substantial renewal of the hotel’s 89 existing guestrooms, as well as the spa, Orangery restaurant, and conferencing facilities..

From the considered details of the guest rooms to the calm of the spa and the performance-driven spaces behind the scenes, Chroma Group helped bring together the craftsmanship, functionality, and character that underpin Lilianfels’ new chapter.
