Locanda Restaurant & Public Bar is located in the heart of Melbourne’s iconic Theatre District and offers a sophisticated and relaxed Melbourne dining experience. Since its inception, there had only been minimal alterations to the original fitout which had begun to grow tired and required a revamp.

The design draws inspiration for the European style of restaurant dining attempting to create a vibrant yet comfortable environment for its patrons to have a truly enjoyable experience.

Chroma Group was engaged to manage the overall delivery of the project with the requirement for a fast-tracked programme to reduce the amount of downtime for the restaurant.

To ensure that this project was a success we were required to draw down on our experience of working within live environments to ensure minimal disruption was experienced to the hotel’s operations during the construction phase. We were also able to provide substantial assistance with Value Management solutions and budget management to ensure that the project was delivered to a high level of quality without excessive cost.
