Balgownie Estate

The refurbishment of the guestrooms at Balgownie Estate was delivered over two stages across six accommodation blocks on their rolling Yarra Valley property.

Delivered in carefully staged phases to maintain hotel operations, the works involved guestrooms across six accommodation blocks, with each block comprising three suite typologies including kitchenettes, bedrooms, and bathrooms. The refurbishment introduced a refreshed regional guest experience that responded to the estate’s rolling Yarra Valley setting, while the site’s distance from Melbourne required detailed subcontractor coordination and procurement planning to maintain the same standard of delivery achieved on Chroma Group’s metropolitan projects.
