Dorsett Hotel

Chroma Group was engaged to construct the mock-up room and corridor for the new upscale Dorsett Hotel at West Side Place, supporting the design resolution of a premium hotel product alongside The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne.

Working closely with the client and consultant team, Chroma Group used the prototype process to identify design clashes, resolve buildability issues, and test the suitability of selected materials, fittings, and finishes before documentation was issued to the main contractor.

Prior to construction, Chroma Group also sourced alternative value-managed products to assist the client in reducing overall construction cost while maintaining the intended guest experience, design quality, and finish standards.
