Melbourne Airport Square Hotel

Chroma Group was engaged to deliver prototype rooms for the Ibis and Novotel hotels at Melbourne Airport Square, providing early buildability, coordination, and design resolution support for the future hotel rollout.

The project involved close collaboration with services engineers, architects, and interior designers to identify potential service clashes, resolve detailing issues, and ensure the completed prototype achieved a cohesive and durable guestroom experience.

Through the mock-up process, Chroma Group recommended design and procurement refinements, including custom lighting and alternative finishes, to reduce future rollout risk, improve maintenance outcomes, and achieve significant cost efficiencies without compromising the design intent.
